Hester Bateman
Toddy Ladleplain hemispherical bowl with pouring lip and lightly everting rim and with coin dated 1680 inset to base, mounted with turned wood handle, bearing marks on handle socket shank for Hester Bateman c1780; together with another toddy ladle having ovoid bowl and pouring lip, decorated with four flutes and chased with flowers and foliate work and mouted with twisted whale bone handle, no apparent makers mark, bearing marks for London 1772; and together with another toddly ladle having plain ovoid bowl and pouring lip, inset to base with coin dated 1787 and engraved to one side with oval plaque, mounted with twisted whale bone handle, no apparent makers mark, c1790 (3)
