What has she seen?
This rare and remarkable triptych juxtaposes a portrait of a young woman who may never enter an art gallery, with images of those galleries. It first appeared at Garry Anderson’s influential Bill Henson show that announced the arrival of a sophisticated, visionary eye. As beautiful as they are provocative, Bill Henson manages what only a select few artists achieve – a new way of seeing the world.
