Where is she going?
A surreal Talking Clock oversaw a recent Tom Polo exhibition. The artist’s voice urged us to – Take more time. Wise advice, as Polo is prone to turning galleries into grand theatres where the vivid characters in his paintings might step out from the canvas and enter life. I suspect Tom Polo may soon join the pantheon of great Australian artists, alongside Nolan, Whitely, et al. This imposing 2018 canvas is one of his masterworks.
