Gary Heery is the ultimate portraitist.

His images, whether of celebrities, animals or flowers, consistently reflect a masterful capturing of something unique, alluring and deeply beautiful.

These exquisite and sensuous large-scale fine-art nude photographs present a new departure for Heery and are a culmination of the relationship between a great photographer and a dynamic creative team.

"I have been surrounded by beauty and beautiful women all my life. This series of highly detailed photographs is a reflection on the fragility of beauty in the natural world." states Heery.

Establishing photographic studios in Hollywood in the late '70s and New York in the early '80s, Heery became a leading portrait specialist for record companies, movie studios, and Life, Esquire and Rolling Stone magazines, shooting stars such as Madonna, Andy Warhol, Roy Orbison, Paul Simon, Geoffrey Rush and Cate Blanchett. Heery returned to Sydney in 1989. He has published 5 photographic books and produced two other significant series - Winged & Zoo.
