Canton Famille Rose Porcelain Tea Set

Est. $1,000 - 2,000

Personally gifted in 1900 by tea merchant Mei Quong Tart to Rev. and Mrs F. J. Dillon, this tea set, accompanied with a facsimile letter detailing its provenance, captures an important fragment of Sydney’s cultural history and an insight into one of the most well-loved and prominent businessmen of the 19th century.
